Spring is coming soon along with Easter which means an influx of rabbits being purchased impulsively! So today we go over many really important questions you need to ask yourself before getting rabbits, determining if the pet fits your lifestyle BEFORE you get them can help prevent disappointment, stress and having to rehome them.
Ahhhh I’m happy to finally get this video up, I know rabbit videos aren’t the most popular on my channel but regardless I own rabbits and care just as much about them as I do hamsters! And maybe if you don’t have rabbits or plan to get any the video could still help you the next time someone wants to impulse purchase rabbits! π°

For those of wanting to experience owning rabbits but are not sure they work with your lifestyle or you donβt know if you can commit to them for 10+ years then fostering is a great idea it is budget friendly as the shelter will provide everything
from a x-pen to hay to toys and food. The only 5ing you need to provide is veggies and loveπ It is a great way to look after rabbits while they look for a new home and can be really rewarding , you can also see if a rabbit works in your lifestyle and is the right pet for you. The shelter also covers any vet bills and check ups. I fostered too harlequin dwarf lops from my local shelter about 1 month ago and it is great. I hope this helps some of you. Great video as always Victoria π
Great video very realistic people need to research weigh the pros and cons before purchasing a bunny
As much as I hate to say it I'm not the right person to own a bunny as I don't have the proper means to properly care for it π’
i want a rabbit so badly, I've been waiting to for years now, but now i see that i mainly won't have the time to do all the cleaning and everything thanks to school and studying, however i feel like i might be able to get my family to do this for me while I'm gone
My rabbit, Benjamin, who I recently adopted has never had hay before I got him. He doesnt want it and im worried he nay get overweight if he only eats pellets. I was thinking of taking out his pellets for a day so he hopefully tries it but I'm not sure if thats a good idea.
What breed is the brown rabbit I had one just like her but I thought he was a lionhead but now i see your rabbit he is more like her
you blink like 300 times a minute lol
Well done video very good thorough points you went through. I would mention cost can increase based on rabbits size feed more veggies based on weight.
Haha i use a newspaper, kost 0, i give a bag full of grass each day and they eat hay from the horse barn oh and they eat the veggies that we eat because we share it , they get science selective and that is the only money spend i think, plus all of the toys ofcourse.
Can you make another video about this pls if you feel like it
Outdoor rabbit homes are the best idea in my opinion. Closer to their natural habitat. They won't make chew toys out of your furniture. They poop constantly, not taken care of and your home will smell like a barn. And if you are like me, you will have plenty of room for them. If you buy your food from the pet stores, this could be an expensive venture. I buy in bulk from places like tsc. You never need to go to the vet, bunnies will make more bunnies. If you just take care of them. Keep their home and water clean daily. Bunnies can take lots of time and patience, but they are worth it…πππ°π°
The video helped so much myself I only have 1 rabbit but she loves my own company.
I've done a lot of rescue but only one rabbit. Someone dumped it at my property not too long after easter. Actually found him a wonderful home with a couple who had recently lost their rabbit and it was the same breed! I have too many cats and dogs. There is no way they would thrive. They are so adorable! Very informative video.
