A tiny, pet bunny rabbit explores in the night. Eventually the rabbit comes up on the bed to nuzzle his human owner in the middle of the night. The free roam rabbit explores the bed, as he likes to do, sits on the shelf, then the rabbit gets scared by something and freaks out, attacking the sheep and jumping over the girl! We will give the rabbit the benefit of the doubt and assume he was trying to go fight whatever it was that scared him and protect his human! ๐ The rabbit was on high alert for a few minutes until he calmed down again.
We wonder what scared him – maybe a car going by, maybe a random bird chirping, or maybe a passing ghost. Who knows? But please, not a ghost!
For background, the free range rabbit comes up on the bed every night. If it’s a good night, he will nuzzle and burrow under his human’s hand or leg, to simulate being pet, and just go to sleep. Most of the time he won’t even wake her. If it’s a bad night, the rabbit will jump all over the human, begging for food, until she gets up and gives him a snack. By then she is usually quite irritated, so she closes the door to the bedroom so he cannot immediately run back in and repeat the same process over again as soon as he finishes eating. ๐
The rabbu, then again in the morning, right before the human’s alarm clock. The human and rabbit go to sleep around 11:00 PM, and we always assumed that it would be too dark to capture anything on video and, by 2:00 AM, the camera would be out of memory, anyway. To try and overcome the darkness issue, we put a light neat the camera. To overcome the memory issue, we just said a prayer. Given all of these potential problems, actually capturing the rabbit’s nightly adventure was a very happy surprise! We hope that him being scared like that is a very rare occurrence, however!

We found these cups out thrifting and presented them to the rabbit. The bunny instantly knew how to play, intuited a winning strategy, and remains undefeated in the shell game. Do you want to master the shell game? Here’s a tip to master the shell game – think like a rabbit and use your nose.
What is the shell game?
The shell game (also known as thimblerig, three shells and a pea, the old army game) is often portrayed as a gambling game, but in reality, when a wager for money is made, it is almost always a confidence trick used to perpetrate fraud. In confidence trick slang, this swindle is referred to as a short-con because it is quick and easy to pull off. The shell game is related to the cups and balls conjuring trick, which is performed purely for entertainment purposes without any purported gambling element.
Playing the shell game:
In the shell game, three or more identical containers (which may be cups, shells, bottle caps, or anything else) are placed face-down on a surface. A small ball is placed beneath one of these containers so that it cannot be seen, and they are then shuffled by the operator in plain view. One or more players are invited to bet on which container holds the ball โ typically, the operator offers to double the player’s stake if they guess right. Where the game is played honestly, the operator can win if he shuffles the containers in a way which the player cannot follow.
In practice, however, the shell game is notorious for its use by confidence tricksters who will typically rig the game using sleight of hand to move or hide the ball during play and replace it as required. Fraudulent shell games are also known for the use of psychological tricks to convince potential players of the legitimacy of the game โ for example, by using shills or by allowing a player to win a few times before beginning the scam.
History of the shell game:
The shell game dates back at least to Ancient Greece. It can be seen in several paintings of the European Middle Ages. A book published in England in 1670 (Hull Elections โ Richard Perry and his fiddler wife) mentions the thimblerig game. In the 1790s, it was called “thimblerig” as it was originally played using sewing thimbles. Later, walnut shells were used, and today the use of bottle caps or matchboxes is common. The swindle became very popular throughout the nineteenth century, and games were often set up in or around traveling fairs. It game is becoming less popular today as rabbits proliferate as pets – rabbits NEVER fall for the trick of the shell game, and always instantly know which shell the prize is under. Operators of the game fear the presence of a rabbit above all else.

5 ideas for activities I can do with my rabbit for them to loose weight
Certainly, here are 5 ideas for activities you can do with your rabbit to help them lose weight:
1. Provide a stimulating environment: Rabbits are curious creatures and providing a stimulating environment can encourage them to move around and explore. Provide them with toys to chew on and hide treats around their enclosure to encourage them to forage and move.
2. Go for a walk with a harness and leash: Like cats, some rabbits can be trained to walk on a harness and leash. Make sure to use a proper harness designed for rabbits and start slowly, letting them explore their surroundings at their own pace.
3. Encourage jumping: Rabbits love to jump, so providing them with a small obstacle course or a set of steps to climb can encourage them to exercise and burn calories.
4. Provide plenty of space: Rabbits need plenty of space to move around, so make sure their enclosure is large enough to allow them to stretch their legs and move around comfortably.
5. Play games: Games like “fetch” or “keep away” can be a fun way to encourage your rabbit to move around and get some exercise. Use a lightweight toy that’s safe for them to play with.
Remember to always supervise your rabbit during exercise and make sure their enclosure is safe and free from hazards. Consult with your veterinarian before starting a new exercise program, especially if your rabbit is overweight or has any underlying health conditions.
